Proficiency test required
Wild swimming
To use the Lake independently in a dedicated area, we do require you to complete a swimming proficiency. All members and guests must pass a 50 meter swimming proficiency which can be booked at the Clubhouse.

Rowing boats
Rowing Boats can be booked out from the Boathouse. They usually fit up to a maximum of around 4 people. Life jackets must be worn.

Book your Lake Safari at Clubhouse in advance or contact us via the booking request form.
Lake Rules
➡ Please take responsibility for your own safety on the lake
➡ You must have passed your club swimming pro¬ficiency before you can use the lake unsupervised.
➡ Children must be 13 years or over and should always be supervised by an adult.
➡ Tell a friend or a member of staff when you are entering and exiting the lake if you don’t have a swim buddy
➡ If you are swimming solo, stay within the floated safety zones, bring your own tow float, brightly coloured hat and whistle
➡ Always wear a lifejacket when on boats or boards. These are available from the boathouse when you sign in for lake entry.
➡ Wetsuits are advised when the water temperature is below 18degrees.
➡ Its a wild setting, be mindful of wind, changing weather and sudden temperature changes at depth.
➡ Please explore the lake but respect our wildlife, its their home after all.
